Field Trips The Norman Howard School recognizes the special value that field trips contribute to a student’s education. Field trips allow teachers to expand learning beyond the classroom and give students new and different experiences. Field trips can increase a student’s knowledge and understanding of a subject and bring a sense of realism to classroom work. Field trips often provide students with hands-on activities and present information in a way that can excite and motivate them to learn more.
