Renée P. Widor

The Norman Howard School is a family known for the strong connections we make with our students, families, and staff so that together we may celebrate each of our students through enriching educational experiences tailored to empower each student toward lifelong learning and success.

Renée Widor began her career as a reading teacher at the Norman Howard School in 1994. Prior to returning to NHS in 2022, Mrs. Widor spent 24 years with Brighton Central School District as a classroom teacher, enrichment specialist, instructional leader, and coordinator of summer learning. Renée has earned a Bachelors’ and Masters’ Degree in in elementary education, art and literacy from SUNY Oswego. She attended Nazareth College for gifted education and graduated from SUNY Brockport with School Building and District Leader certifications.

She lives in Webster with her husband Glenn, three sons and two Shih Tzus. When Renee is not at school, she enjoys decorating, reading, watching the NY Yankees and traveling to Martha’s Vineyard.

As Director of Students, Mrs. Widor enjoys making connections with staff, students, and families to provide meaningful school experiences for students.
