Please join us in welcoming incoming Director of Students and Co-Head of School, Renée Widor! Mrs. Widor began her teaching career at The Norman Howard School in 1994 and now returns with invaluable experiences as a veteran classroom teacher and Math and Science Instructional Leader for students K-5, along with her most recent role as the enrichment specialist at Brighton Central School District.
Relationship-building skills, extensive knowledge of educational approaches, and classroom teaching experiences are just a few of the many assets Mrs. Widor offers. Her sunny disposition and enthusiastic manner complement and strengthen our school's already warm and welcoming setting.
Mrs. Widor is eager to be back to NHS, “I am excited and humbled to return to The Norman Howard School as its Director of Students. I look forward to getting to know our students, families, and staff so that- together- we may celebrate our students through enriching experiences and unique opportunities.”
Also an enrichment specialist, Mrs. Widor was the administrator of a summer school program for the last several years. She received her Bachelor's of Arts from SUNY Oswego in Elementary Education, her Master's from SUNY Oswego in Literacy, and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Educational Administration from SUNY Brockport.
When Mrs. Widor is not at school, she enjoys decorating, reading, watching the Yankees, and traveling to Martha’s Vineyard with her family. She lives in Webster with her husband, Glenn, three sons, and two Shih Tzus.
Excited to meet Mrs. Widor? Opportunities will be offered as the 2022-2023 school year nears. Until then, she can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please join us in giving Mrs. Widor a hearty NHS welcome!
