It’s positively inspiring to see these students grow.

"In every block of marble I see a statue as plain as though it stood before me, shaped and perfect in attitude and action. I have only to hew away the rough walls that imprison the lovely apparition to reveal it to the other eyes as mine see it.”

Born in Chicago, schooled in Indiana, Mrs. Pudetti's first teaching job was in a northern Wisconsin agricultural town with a population of 250.  She was the only speech pathologist and special educator and wore many hats:  home visits, therapy with Kindergartners in a one-room schoolhouse, and classes in language development for teen mothers.  From there she went to Milwaukee, taught in the city schools, and lived downtown with a beautiful view of Lake Michigan.

After moving to Rochester, NY Mrs. Pudetti worked as a speech pathologist at ARC, and a Learning Specialist at RIT before beginning at The Norman Howard School in 1991. Here, she enjoys doing therapy and teaching learning strategies.   She has a husband, 4 children, and 2 cats.
