The Norman Howard School is special because of the supportive, family-type environment that is evident throughout the school.  Being such a small school affords me the opportunity to truly get to know all of my students.  I am able to be a much more effective teacher  because of this. 

Mrs. Ryan has been teaching Math at The Norman Howard School since 2013.  Aside from her passion for teaching math, she enjoys helping students reach their potential and especially appreciates the opportunity to truly get to know all of her students. Prior to becoming a teacher, she was an engineer at Kodak, and also  a full time Mom for several years.  

Mrs. Ryan is married and has four children.  Outside of the classroom, she spends time with her family, and doing outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, paddle-boarding and skiing.
