NHS Featured on Rochester Speaks

From daily Reading classes with no more than 4 students per teacher and our Developmental Math curriculum, to a rich Arts Program and strong emphasis on outdoor and hands-on learning, the Norman Howard School is the only resource of its kind regionally. As other schools struggle to meet students' needs, we are further refining our expertise and models, enrolling tomorrow's graduates, and supporting parents to advocate for their children.

Rochester Speaks, Entercom's local public affairs radio show, featured an interview with our Director of Education, Rosemary Hodges. Mrs. Hodges and the host, 98PXY's Breezy, discussed everything that makes our school special!

Listen to their 15 minute interview HERE.

Breezy candidly shared her own experiences living and learning with Dyslexia, "your disability plays a role in every aspect of your life." And both she and Rosemary agreed with The Norman Howard School's message to all students, "though you have a disability, your disability does not define you."
